WHO THESE TERMS APPLY TO

These terms and conditions apply to all individuals who purchase tickets to, or attend, Once Upon Con and/or the SLVR Children’s Book Awards Gala, collectively presented by Little Ivory Haus™ (ABN: 59 602 478 829)

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending either event, you agree to the following:

1. Tickets

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.

Tickets are not transferable to another person or event. Tickets are valid only for the date and event specified at the time of purchase.

2. Age Requirement

These events are for attendees aged 18 years and over only. Children and minors are not permitted at either the conference or gala.

3. Photography & Media Consent

By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded during the event. These materials may be used by Little Ivory Haus™ for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, and future event advertising. No payment or compensation will be provided for the use of your image or likeness.

4. Guest Speakers & Event Changes

While we make every effort to deliver the program as advertised, speaker attendance is subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances. No refunds or discounts will be issued if a guest speaker or presenter is unable to attend or must be substituted.

5. Personal Belongings

All attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings. Little Ivory Haus™ accepts no liability for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during the event.

6. Health & Safety

All attendees must comply with venue rules, health regulations, and any directions given by event staff. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you consider your health and the wellbeing of other attendees before attending.

7. Event Ownership

Once Upon Con and the SLVR Children's Book Awards are proudly hosted by Little Ivory Haus™. Little Ivory Haus™ reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time and will notify attendees of any significant changes.


8. Payment Plans

We’re happy to offer payment plans to make it easier for you to attend. Please note that all ticket payments must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to the event (by 27 September 2025).

If your payment plan is not completed by this date, your ticket may be cancelled and offered to someone on the waitlist. No refunds will be issued for incomplete payments unless arranged in advance.
